Their performances show they\u2019re ready for top-tier competition,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n<p>Family Worship Champions (FWC) Football Club clinched the tournament title, outplaying runners-up EFCC FC in a thrilling final.<\/p>\n<p>Both teams compete in the Nationwide League One (NLO), underscoring the depth of talent in the FCT.<\/p>\n<p>Looking ahead, Ilerika announced the kickoff of a pre-season training program on February 24, aimed at sharpening team performance before the President Federation Cup.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re optimistic about even greater strides in upcoming tournaments,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Ilerika also extended gratitude to the media, coaches, and players for their roles in making the competition a success.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament featured 33 Division One teams and 10 Division Two teams, with hopes of nurturing national-level talent from the FCT by year\u2019s end.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Ade Iyamoye The Secretary of the FCT Football Association, Haruna Ilerika, has applauded FCT teams for their impressive display at the just-concluded 2025 FCT President Cup, held on Saturday at Abuja\u2019s Area 3 football pitch.
