These materials were meant for the IDPs, not to be locked away,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>He also announced plans to expand the probe to other IDP camps nationwide, warning that similar irregularities could be widespread.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the commission reaffirmed its commitment to supporting IDPs, including efforts to provide teachers for displaced children in collaboration with the Universal Basic Education Commission.<\/p>\n<p>In a related development, the founder of Brightlife Vision Foundation, Hajia Binta Sidi, disclosed plans to train 1,000 IDPs across the country, emphasizing her foundation\u2019s focus on empowering underprivileged individuals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Ade Iyamoye The federal government has launched an investigation into the alleged hoarding of relief materials meant for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), after discovering food and non-food supplies stockpiled inside classrooms at the Durumi IDP camp in Abuja.
