{"id":61336,"date":"2025-02-16T00:30:39","date_gmt":"2025-02-16T00:30:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=61336"},"modified":"2025-02-16T02:27:19","modified_gmt":"2025-02-16T02:27:19","slug":"fcta-launches-intensive-training-to-empower-vice-principals-in-entrepreneurship-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/02\/16\/fcta-launches-intensive-training-to-empower-vice-principals-in-entrepreneurship-education\/","title":{"rendered":"FCTA Launches Intensive Training to Empower Vice Principals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Adenike Lawal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), is set to conduct a two-day intensive training program on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education for Vice Principals (Academics) of secondary schools within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).<\/p>\n<p>Scheduled for February 18-19, 2025, at the Nigeria Building and Road Research Institute (NBBRI), in Abuja, this initiative aims to equip educational leaders with the skills necessary to foster entrepreneurial mindsets among students.<\/p>\n<p>This training aligns with the ongoing efforts of the Brunel Team within the FCT&#8217;s education sector, which has been actively promoting entrepreneurship values to benefit both educators and students.<\/p>\n<p>Led by Dr. Sani Ladan, Director\/Secretary of the FCT Secondary Education Board, the team emphasizes the importance of entrepreneurship knowledge as a pathway to economic independence and societal development.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Ladan stated, &#8220;Entrepreneurship serves as a pathway to self-reliance and a powerful tool for positively influencing society.<\/p>\n<p>It is essential for educators to adopt and promote these principles to transform our educational landscape and adequately prepare students for future challenges.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The training program will cover critical topics, including Understanding Entrepreneurship Education, Leadership for Entrepreneurship, Stakeholder Engagement, Resource Mobilization, and Curriculum Development.<\/p>\n<p>Dignitaries expected to attend this significant event include the Honorable Minister of State for the FCT, the FCT Secretary for Education, the FCT Permanent Secretary for Education, and Directors from the Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB), and the FCT Department of Science, Technology, and Innovation.<\/p>\n<p>Through this initiative, the FCTA aims to empower Vice Principals with the essential skills and knowledge necessary to effectively promote entrepreneurship education, thereby preparing students for self-sufficiency and contributing to economic growth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Adenike Lawal The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), is set to conduct a two-day intensive training program on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education for Vice Principals (Academics) of secondary schools within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
