Instead, Nuwa and three accomplices took the child to Kubwa, Abuja, intending to sell her.<\/p>\n<p>Upon discovering her baby was missing, the mother reported the case to the police.<\/p>\n<p>An investigation led to the arrest of four suspects: Joy Nuwa (20), Favour James (25), Ezekiel Emmanuel (30), and Patience Obana (23).<\/p>\n<p>Police spokesman Wasiu Abiodun confirmed that Emmanuel confessed to the crime, revealing they had conspired with Obana in Kubwa to facilitate the sale.<\/p>\n<p>The baby was rescued unharmed and reunited with her mother.<\/p>\n<p>All suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Minna, for further investigation and prosecution.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Patrick Idowu The Niger State Police Command has rescued a six-month-old baby kidnapped by her cousin and taken to Abuja for sale.
