At the hearing on January 29, 2025, the prosecution\u2019s counsel, Samson Osobu, informed the court of a notice of discontinuance, citing interventions from concerned citizens and a request from Aare Afe Babalola. Justice Babs Kuewumi subsequently struck out the case.
