Preparations for the 56th Annual Conference of the Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT), have commenced with the inauguration of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), chaired by Dr. Eugene Okolocha, Head of the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law, University of Abuja.<\/p>\n
The LOC, comprising law lecturers from the University of Abuja and other institutions across Abuja, Nasarawa, and Taraba States, is charged with delivering a well-organized conference.<\/p>\n
Speaking at the inauguration, Prof. Uwakwe Abugu, Chairman of the 56th NALT Conference, emphasized the importance of meticulous planning to ensure the Abuja conference surpasses previous editions.<\/p>\n
Prof. Abdulkadir Abikan, Director General of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and keynote speaker, urged the LOC to prioritize early preparation, networking, and timely registration by participants, warning that last-minute arrangements could jeopardize the event’s success.<\/p>\n
The conference, scheduled to hold in Abuja for the first time, aims to set a new standard in attendance, hospitality, and quality sessions.<\/p>\n
