{"id":59626,"date":"2025-01-15T17:38:20","date_gmt":"2025-01-15T17:38:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=59626"},"modified":"2025-01-15T17:38:20","modified_gmt":"2025-01-15T17:38:20","slug":"mohbads-mother-yomi-fabiyi-clash-over-singers-death","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/01\/15\/mohbads-mother-yomi-fabiyi-clash-over-singers-death\/","title":{"rendered":"Mohbad\u2019s Mother, Yomi Fabiyi Clash Over Singer\u2019s Death"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Gabriella Ogbu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tensions flared at a World Press Conference in Lagos as Abosede Aloba, mother of the late singer Ilerioluwa &#8220;Mohbad&#8221; Aloba, and actor Yomi Fabiyi clashed over the circumstances surrounding the artist\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<p>Fabiyi claimed that Adura Aloba, Mohbad\u2019s brother, had sent him a message on Instagram, allegedly revealing the true cause of the singer\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<p>A visibly distraught Mrs. Aloba fiercely refuted the claim, insisting Adura had no knowledge of what transpired.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey killed Mohbad, and now you want me to lose his brother unjustly. He knows nothing about his brother\u2019s death\u2014don\u2019t implicate my son!\u201d she cried out, pointing at Fabiyi.<\/p>\n<p>Overcome with emotion, she continued, \u201cIf Mohbad were alive, I wouldn\u2019t be sitting here.
