Igweh, on Wednesday, decorated 25 newly promoted officers with their new ranks.<br \/>\nSpeaking at the ceremony, Igweh noted that the promotions followed the approval of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode Egbetokun, by the Police Service Commission.<br \/>\nAmong the beneficiaries were senior officers promoted from Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), as well as several officers advancing to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), Superintendent of Police (SP), and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).<br \/>\nNotable among them was Makuliso B. Umaru, the Area Commander of Kontagora, Niger State, who was elevated to DCP.<br \/>\nOthers decorated as CSPs included Orok Chinyere (O\/C Political Desk), Mustapha Nasir (A\/O Operations), Watam Kambasaya (O\/C Works), and Baba Lawan (2ic Anti-Human Trafficking), among others.<br \/>\nSP promotions included Mustapha Bello Abdulkadir (Zonal Public Relations Officer), and Aminu Abdulkadir Mohammed (2ic Crack Squad), while several officers were elevated to DSP, including Gonet Stephanie, Abubakar Sadiq Muhammed, and Oniye Victor Oberiri.<br \/>\nAIG Igweh commended IGP Egbetokun\u2019s commitment to personnel welfare and emphasized that the large-scale promotions reflect ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and morale within the Nigeria Police Force.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Patrick Idowu The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), in charge of Zone 7, Abuja, Benneth C.
