They also made away with his car, phones, cash, and other valuables.<br \/>\n\u201cThank you for your concern. I just got home from the hospital. I have people with me now and will speak on the incident later,\u201d he stated.<br \/>\nThe Abuja Police Command has launched an investigation to recover the stolen items and apprehend the culprits.<br \/>\nFCT Police PRO, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the attack.<br \/>\n\u201cI spoke with the DPO, who verified the incident. Investigations are ongoing, and updates will be provided in due course,\u201d Adeh said.<br \/>\nEnyimba Chairman and football legend, Kanu Nwankwo, condemned the attack and urged security agencies to act swiftly.<br \/>\n\u201cThis is deeply disturbing. Anyansi-Agwu is a key football figure, and it is heartbreaking that such an incident happened to him.<br \/>\n&#8220;I call on security agencies to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice,\u201d Kanu said, adding prayers for his recovery and the restoration of his losses.<br \/>\nThe NFF leadership, led by President Ibrahim Gusau, also visited Anyansi-Agwu to show solidarity.<br \/>\n\u201cThis is a distressing incident.
