Nasarawa United Technical Director, Kabiru Dogo, has expressed deep disappointment following his team\u2019s 2-1 defeat to Enyimba in a rescheduled NPFL matchday 17 clash in Aba on Wednesday.
\nDespite creating multiple scoring chances, the Lafia-based side failed to capitalize, with Anas Yusuf netting their lone goal.
\nEnyimba\u2019s Joseph Atule and former Super Eagles striker Brown Ideye sealed the victory for the hosts.
\n\u201cWe are devastated by this loss,\u201d Dogo admitted post-match, adding that \u201cWe had opportunities to win but failed to convert them.\u201d
\nWith Nasarawa United languishing at the bottom of the table with just 19 points, Dogo emphasized the urgent need for reinforcements, particularly in attack, during the mid-season transfer window.
\n\u201cWe must strengthen the squad, especially in finishing, as we prepare for the tougher second half of the season,\u201d he stated.
