{"id":58870,"date":"2025-01-03T13:15:07","date_gmt":"2025-01-03T13:15:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=58870"},"modified":"2025-01-03T13:15:07","modified_gmt":"2025-01-03T13:15:07","slug":"fct-police-recovers-abandoned-suv-in-abuja","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/01\/03\/fct-police-recovers-abandoned-suv-in-abuja\/","title":{"rendered":"FCT Police Recovers Abandoned SUV in Abuja"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Patrick Idowu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Police Command have recovered an abandoned Toyota Prado Land Cruiser in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Josephine Adeh, stated on Friday that the vehicle was found on December 31, 2024, during a routine patrol along David Ejoor Street, opposite Adisa Estate, Apo-Gudu.<\/p>\n<p>She noted that the SUV had no registration number.<\/p>\n<p>A search of the vehicle yielded a silver-colored eagle insignia, video\/audio cables, and a car stereo remote.<\/p>\n<p>Further inspection revealed that the sticker displaying the engine and chassis numbers near the driver\u2019s door had been removed, and the windscreen appeared recently replaced.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle has been towed to the FCT Police Command Headquarters in Garki II.<\/p>\n<p>The police urged anyone with a missing vehicle matching the description to visit the command for verification and possible recovery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Patrick Idowu Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Police Command have recovered an abandoned Toyota Prado Land Cruiser in Abuja.
