The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has called on residents to rededicate themselves to God\u2019s service and obedience to His commandments during the Christmas season.<\/p>\n
In a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Wike highlighted the significance of following God\u2019s laws, inspired by the obedience of Jesus Christ, whose birth is celebrated at Christmas.<\/p>\n

\u201cJesus Christ, whose birth we celebrate, obeyed God\u2019s commandments.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“Christians must follow His example by showing love to others and promoting the same values,\u201d Wike said.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
He expressed optimism about national progress under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu\u2019s Renewed Hope Agenda and congratulated FCT residents on witnessing another Christmas.<\/p>\n

\u201cI congratulate all residents of the FCT for the grace to celebrate another Christmas.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“I pray that the Lord blesses us with many more in good health,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The Minister also sympathized with families affected by recent stampedes in Abuja, praying for God\u2019s comfort for the bereaved.<\/p>\n
