{"id":58220,"date":"2024-12-19T09:10:37","date_gmt":"2024-12-19T09:10:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=58220"},"modified":"2024-12-19T09:10:37","modified_gmt":"2024-12-19T09:10:37","slug":"dangote-refinery-slashes-pms-price-introduces-credit-offer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2024\/12\/19\/dangote-refinery-slashes-pms-price-introduces-credit-offer\/","title":{"rendered":"Dangote Refinery Slashes PMS Price, Introduces Credit Offer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>By Alexis Uchendu<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), to \u20a6899.50 per litre, providing Nigerians with a much-needed relief ahead of the holiday season.<\/p>\n<p>The new price, effective immediately, marks a significant reduction from the previous \u20a6970 per litre set on November 24.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, also introduced a special offer for customers.<\/p>\n<p>Those purchasing fuel on a cash basis will receive an additional litre on credit, backed by a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.<\/p>\n<p>Chiejina explained that the initiative was aimed at easing transport costs during the festive period and expressed appreciation for Nigerians&#8217; continued support.<\/p>\n<p>He reiterated the refinery&#8217;s commitment to delivering high-quality, environmentally friendly fuel while eliminating the nation&#8217;s reliance on substandard imports that have raised health and environmental concerns.<\/p>\n<p>With a production capacity of 650,000 barrels per day, Dangote Refinery is the world&#8217;s largest single-train refinery, poised to meet Nigeria&#8217;s full refined petroleum needs and export surplus fuel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Alexis Uchendu Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), to \u20a6899.50 per litre, providing Nigerians with a much-needed relief ahead of the holiday season.
