{"id":57533,"date":"2024-12-03T09:56:58","date_gmt":"2024-12-03T09:56:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=57533"},"modified":"2024-12-03T09:56:58","modified_gmt":"2024-12-03T09:56:58","slug":"police-officers-wife-delivers-triplets-in-jigawa-seeks-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2024\/12\/03\/police-officers-wife-delivers-triplets-in-jigawa-seeks-support\/","title":{"rendered":"Police Officer\u2019s Wife Delivers Triplets in Jigawa, Seeks Support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Alexis Uchendu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Firdausi Muhammad, a 25-year-old wife of a police officer in Jigawa State, safely delivered triplets\u2014two girls and a boy\u2014through a Cesarean section at Dutse General Hospital on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The delivery, which took place at about 12:30 pm, was a success, and both the mother and her three newborns are reportedly in good health, receiving care from the hospital&#8217;s medical team.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with journalists, Firdausi shared her surprise at the outcome, revealing that she had initially been informed she was expecting twins during a prenatal scan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I went for a scan, the result showed twins, but to my surprise, I delivered triplets,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Grateful for the safe delivery, Firdausi expressed her gratitude to God for the blessing.<\/p>\n<p>However, she appealed for assistance to care for the babies, calling on the Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, and kind-hearted Nigerians to support her family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need help to properly take care of them.
