As of the last update, when Ekeremor’s results were tallied, Diri had established a significant lead with 137,900 votes compared to Sylva’s 73,503 votes, reflecting a difference of 64,404 votes. In the initial three local government areas \u2013 Yenagoa, Kolokuma\/Opokuma, and Ogbia \u2013 Diri secured 74,677 votes against Timipre Sylva’s 36,202 votes. As the results from the remaining three local government areas were revealed, Diri further solidified his lead by winning two out of the three.<\/p>\n
In Sagbama, the governor garnered 35,504 votes, while Sylva obtained 6,608 votes, and the Labour Party candidate, Udengs Eradiri, received 217 votes. Sylva triumphed in Nembe with 22,248 votes, surpassing Diri, who secured 4,556 votes. Ekeremor saw Diri emerging victorious with 23,172 votes against Sylva’s 8,445 votes.<\/p>\n
