The Executive Chairman of Mangu Local Government Area, Hon. Emmanuel Bala Mwolpun, has pledged his administration\u2019s continued commitment to fostering lasting peace across communities in the region.<\/p>\n
Speaking during a meeting on Thursday with facilitators from the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) network and the Plateau Peace Building Agency, Hon. Mwolpun commended their peacebuilding efforts.<\/p>\n
He described their initiatives as \u201ctransformative and essential\u201d to achieving harmony in Mangu and Plateau State at large.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeace is the bedrock of progress, and we remain steadfast in working collaboratively with organizations like yours to sustain it,\u201d Mwolpun stated.<\/p>\n
He assured stakeholders of his administration\u2019s willingness to embrace dialogue and leverage expert support to deepen community engagement and resolve conflicts.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Lola Raji, the USIP network\u2019s team leader, highlighted the organization\u2019s impactful one-year engagement in Mangu.<\/p>\n
She noted that their work included a pivotal interactive session on civil-military relations, which brought together key stakeholders to foster mutual understanding and cooperation.<\/p>\n
