The CEO of Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), and Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General, Damilola Ogunbiyi has been honored in TIME magazine’s prestigious TIME100 Climate list.<\/p>\n

This annual ranking celebrates 100 influential figures spearheading global climate action and advancing climate-conscious business solutions.<\/p>\n

TIME recognized Ogunbiyi for her outstanding leadership in sustainable energy advocacy and her dedication to a just, inclusive energy transition, especially for the Global South.<\/p>\n

As CEO of SEforALL, Ogunbiyi has championed decarbonization and prioritized the energy needs of developing regions.<\/p>\n

Expressing gratitude, she noted, \u201cThis is not just a recognition of my work and my amazing colleagues at SEforALL, but of the entire team who has supported the vision of accelerating action on climate change and energy poverty\u2014focused on not leaving anyone behind.\u201d<\/p>\n

This honor from TIME is the latest in a series of accolades for Ogunbiyi.<\/p>\n

In September 2024, she received the UAE’s First Class Order of Zayed II for her contributions to COP28 and was also awarded the Global Female Leadership Impact Award.<\/p>\n

Earlier, in March 2024, Reuters recognized her as a trailblazer among women in climate and energy, and in 2023, she was presented with the Energy Institute President\u2019s Award.<\/p>\n

Under Ogunbiyi’s leadership since 2020, SEforALL has extended its reach to over 90 countries and has played a key role in mobilizing more than $1.3 trillion in energy financing.<\/p>\n
