Nigeria’s Under-18 men’s handball team has emerged victorious in the International Handball Federation’s (IHF) Trophy Africa Men Continental Championship, defeating Guinea 38-26 in the finals on Wednesday in Addis Ababa.<\/p>\n
Coach Emeka Nnamani’s team dominated the match, winning the first half 21-14 and continuing their impressive performance in the second half with notable contributions from Christian Foloki and Azeez Sulaimon.<\/p>\n
Nnamani attributed the team’s success to thorough preparation, saying, “We knew the Guineans from previous encounters and watched their matches in this competition, allowing us to tactically prepare.”<\/p>\n
The Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) also received praise from Nnamani for their support, despite initial flight delays.<\/p>\n
Azeez Sulaimon was voted Player of the Match for his outstanding performance.<\/p>\n
