Arsenal Manager, Mikel Arteta has questioned the penalty decision against his side in the Champions League clash with Inter on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The Gunners suffered their first defeat of this season\u2019s competition thanks to Hakan Calhanoglu\u2019s penalty in first half added time.<\/p>\n

Spanish midfielder Mikel Merino was adjudged to have handled the ball inside the box from a free-kick.<\/p>\n

The Premier League giants also had a shout for a penalty when Inter keeper Yann Sommer looked to punched Mikel Merino in the head during an ariel duel.<\/p>\n

Reacting to the defeat Arteta argued that Arsenal too deserved a penalty for what he believed was a foul on Merino.
\n\u201cI feel like we were very harshly done tonight\u2026 in the sense that is obvious,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of them, both penalties.<\/p>\n

\u201cEspecially if you\u2019re going to give that one Merino handball\u2026 the other one has to be 100 percent a penalty.\u201d<\/p>\n

Up next for Arsenal is a London derby with London rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
