Justice Oyewole Adeyeye, the Chief Judge of Ekiti State, died after a brief illness.<\/p>\n
The sad news was confirmed on Tuesday by Olanike Adegoke, Chief Registrar of the Ekiti State Judiciary.<\/p>\n
In a statement issued by the judiciary’s Public Relations Officer, Michael Oba, Adegoke praised the late Chief Judge, characterizing him as “a respected jurist who dedicated his life to upholding the principles of fairness, equity, and justice.<\/p>\n
“The late Chief Justice’s services to the judiciary and Ekiti State as a whole were immeasurable. His legacy will be greatly missed,” Adegoke said.<\/p>\n
Justice Adeyeye, born in 1960 in Araromi Ugbesi, Ekiti East Local Government Area, was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1986.<\/p>\n
