Alex Mascot Ikwechegh, for assaulting e-hailing cab driver, Mr. Steven Abuwatseya, in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>Abuwatseya alleged that Ikwechegh verbally and physically assaulted him over a delivery disagreement, captured in a viral video. The lawmaker was seen slapping Abuwatseya, using derogatory language, and threatening to make him &#8220;disappear.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ikwechegh apologized to his colleagues and Nigerians, but was questioned by the Federal Capital Territory Command for belittling the Inspector-General of Police.<\/p>\n<p>Human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju confirmed the arraignment, stating, &#8220;We are on our way to Kuje Magistrate Court for the arraignment of the honourable member who assaulted our client.
