Attorney General Prince Lateef Fagbemi emphasized the need for meticulous execution.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve always been concerned about our inability to update the Laws of the Federation since 2004,&#8221; Fagbemi said. &#8220;The law is constantly evolving, and we must address contemporary socio-economic developments.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The committee, chaired by Mr. Olawale Fapohunda and Professor Jummai Audi, will review and update laws, harmonize conflicting laws, identify outdated laws for repeal or merger, and prepare a comprehensive report.<\/p>\n<p>Fagbemi expressed gratitude to supporting organizations and assured them of institutional support.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President Bola Tinubu&#8217;s administration has established a high-powered committee to review and update Nigeria&#8217;s outdated laws within six months.
