This was not an isolated incident, as reports from Enenche’s agents across Owukpa, Orokam, and Otukpa confirmed that no voting took place in any part of Ogbadibo local government.<\/p>\n
Enenche condemned the events as an injustice to the people of Ogbadibo and an insult to Nigeria’s democratic process. He was backed by Senate Minority Leader Senator Abba Moro, who described the exercise as a “charade”. Enenche demanded the immediate cancellation of the “sham election” and the organization of a fresh, credible election where the people of Ogbadibo can freely exercise their right to vote.<\/p>\n
He appealed to Governor Hyacinth Alia to uphold fairness and justice by annulling the election, proving his commitment to democracy and good governance.
