Eguavoen spoke during Thursday night\u2019s pre-match press conference at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s not much of a concern that his goal tally has not met expectations compared to his performances for his German club, Bayer Leverkusen,\u201d Eguavoen, fondly called \u2018Cerezo\u2019, responded.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s always a time for everything, and I firmly believe that Friday could be the turning point. Yes, Boniface will start scoring.\u201d<\/p>\n
Eguavoen, currently on his fourth stint as Super Eagles Head Coach, also discussed his preparations for the double-header AFCON 2025 qualifier.<\/p>\n
He emphasised that the team has been thoroughly prepared, which gives him confidence in achieving a decisive victory against Libya.<\/p>\n
