{"id":51564,"date":"2024-10-10T22:37:09","date_gmt":"2024-10-10T22:37:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=51564"},"modified":"2024-10-10T22:41:28","modified_gmt":"2024-10-10T22:41:28","slug":"pcngi-green-ville-lng-parley-to-boost-l-cng-stations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2024\/10\/10\/pcngi-green-ville-lng-parley-to-boost-l-cng-stations\/","title":{"rendered":"PCNGI, Green Ville LNG Parley to Boost L-CNG Stations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">Green Ville LNG Nigeria Limited, a pioneer in compressed natural gas, has expressed its willingness to set up main\u00a0 L-CNG stations in major sites across the northern Nigerian states.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Chairman of Green Ville LNG, Eddy Van Den Broeke dropped the hint during\u00a0 a courtesy visit to the\u00a0 Project Director and Chief Executive of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PiCNG), Engr Michael Oluwagbemi in Abuja, Thursday<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Broeke assured that Greenville is partnering with PI-CNG Ltd to extend the footprint of CNG to Northern Nigeria and other fat markets away from pipelines working with PCNGI .<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to him, his company plans to set up main L-CNG stations in Kaduna, Katsina, Borno, Enugu, Plateau and Sokoto in the next 12 months.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Earlier the company\u00a0 had launched the new Greenville LNG\/CNG Hub in Shabu, Lafia, Nasarawa State; marking a significant milestone in Nigeria&#8217;s transition to cleaner energy.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This hub, the first of its kind in the North Central Region, aims to provide affordable and eco-friendly fueling options for luxury buses and other vehicles.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">CNG and LNG are cleaner energy alternatives, to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainable environment.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Also\u00a0 the state government in Kano has granted a vast land for a multimillion-dollar investment in the CNG project.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Kano governor, His Excellency, Alh. Abba Kabir Yusuf said the project, when kickstarted, would generate employment opportunities for youth, boost revenue, and provide affordable energy solutions.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Meanwhile, the czar of the PCNGI, Oluwagbemi, said his agency is poised to make conversion to the CNG affordable as well as available for Nigerian motorists.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">One of the measures, he said, is the payment plan that makes it easier to switch to CNG<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">He said: &#8220;switching to Compressed Natural Gas is now more accessible than ever.
