The mother of rapper Speed Darlington has accused Burna Boy and his team of being responsible for her son\u2019s disappearance. According to her, Burna Boy allegedly had Speed Darlington picked up from his home following a video the rapper made about the Afrobeats star.<\/p>\n
Fans first raised alarm after Speed Darlington went missing from social media for three days. Some netizens speculated that his disappearance might be linked to a controversial video in which he claimed Burna Boy had a relationship with American music mogul Diddy, which helped him secure his Grammy Award.<\/p>\n
In an emotional appeal, Speed Darlington’s mother took to social media, pleading with Nigerians to intervene and ask Burna Boy to release her son. She revealed that the family\u2019s gateman reported what had happened.<\/p>\n
She said:
\n\u201cNigerians, please come and help me. My son, Speed Darlington, has been missing for over four days now, after he made a video about Burna Boy and Diddy. Burna Boy came to his house with his 7 Squad and the police, and they arrested Akpi. Please, Nigerians, Akpi is my only son. Help me beg Burna Boy to release my son,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n
