After submitting the application form, applicants should also print and complete the Guarantor Form.<\/p>\n
To be eligible, applicants must meet certain requirements. They must be single Nigerian citizens by birth, possessing a National Identity Card, NIN slip, or BVN, and a valid certificate of state of origin. Additionally, they should be medically, physically, and psychologically fit according to Nigerian Army standards, have no criminal convictions, and possess at least four passes, including English Language, in not more than two sittings of WASSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB.<\/p>\n
For those applying as tradesmen or women, a Trade Test or City and Guild Certificate is also required. Other essential documents include a valid birth certificate or age declaration and meeting specific height requirements – 1.68 meters for males and 1.65 meters for females. Age limits also apply, with non-trades applicants required to be between 18 and 22 years old, and trades applicants not exceeding 26 years as of December 31, 2024.<\/p>\n
