Lazarus Muoka, the founder of the Lord\u2019s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, is making headlines after claiming that social media critic VeryDarkMan is \u201clearning the hard way\u201d for his negative comments about the church. This comes after VeryDarkMan appeared before a House of Representatives committee investigating a controversial audio leak involving Bobrisky.
\nOn Monday, VeryDarkMan was called in to discuss allegations that Bobrisky bribed officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with N15 million to drop money laundering charges against him. In a leaked audio, Bobrisky claimed he never spent six months in prison, which sparked a heated investigation by the House.
\nIn a now-viral video, Pastor Muoka reacted to VeryDarkMan’s past criticisms, saying, \u201cSomeone told me that VeryDarkMan said the Chosen people will learn something the hard way. But I said, no, it\u2019s him who will learn the hard way. And look at what\u2019s happening today\u2014he\u2019s the one learning it the hard way.\u201d This comment is particularly interesting because VeryDarkMan had previously mocked the popular phrase \u201cI am chosen,\u201d which members of the church often chant after sharing their testimonies.
\nMany supporters of the Lord\u2019s Chosen church jumped on social media to back Pastor Muoka. One fan tweeted, \u201cIt\u2019s about time people learn to respect the chosen ones! VeryDarkMan should have known better than to mess with the Lord\u2019s Chosen.\u201d Another chimed in, \u201cThis is what happens when you mess with the chosen! VeryDarkMan should really think before he speaks.\u201d
\nOn the flip side, some critics defended VeryDarkMan, arguing that he has every right to voice his opinion. One person tweeted, \u201cMuoka is just trying to deflect attention from the issues within his church. VeryDarkMan is speaking the truth.\u201d Another user wrote, \u201cCriticism is part of progress. Instead of threats, why not engage in a constructive conversation?\u201d
