MediaTek has officially announced that it will make a significant revelation on October 9. While the teaser released by the Chinese chipmaker on Weibo doesn’t specify the product, it’s widely anticipated that the company will introduce its flagship chipset, the Dimensity 9400.<\/p>\n
Interestingly, MediaTek might unveil more than one chipset since the teaser hints at “a new generation of MediaTek products.” This aligns with expectations, as many smartphone manufacturers like Oppo and OnePlus have confirmed that they will launch their flagship phones powered by MediaTek\u2019s chipset in mid-October.<\/p>\n
The upcoming Dimensity 9400 chipset is expected to boast an octa-core setup with a 3.63 GHz Cortex-X925, three 2.8 GHz Cortex-X4, and four 2.1 GHz Cortex-A725 processors. It will also feature a powerful Arm Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU, which, according to recent benchmarks, could be the most powerful on the market. The benchmark further reveals that the Dimensity 9400 will offer a 30% performance boost over the current generation.<\/p>\n
Among the first devices to incorporate the Dimensity 9400 are the OnePlus 13 flagship, Oppo Find X8, and Vivo’s upcoming X200 series, which will utilize both MediaTek and Qualcomm processors. Although OnePlus hasn’t disclosed a specific launch date, it has confirmed that the OnePlus 13 will debut in October. Vivo is expected to launch the X200 series on October 14, and Oppo has announced that the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro will be unveiled on October 21.<\/p>\n
