He urged political parties, candidates, and their supporters to respect the people&#8217;s will, underscoring that the power to choose their leaders ultimately rests in the hands of the voters.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Democracy thrives on civility, tolerance, patience, and respect for the rules of the game,&#8221; Tinubu stated, urging candidates and their supporters to act with decorum throughout the process. He further reminded all participants that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has committed to conducting a free, fair, and transparent election, and that it is the duty of all stakeholders to support these efforts by fostering an atmosphere of peace.<\/p>\n<p>The President also lauded the political parties for focusing their campaigns on the issues that matter most to the people of Edo State.
