Nigerian singer and producer Philip Kayode, popularly known as Pheelz, has clarified that contrary to popular belief, music is not a get-rich-quick scheme.<\/p>\n
He emphasized that music serves a more profound, spiritual purpose, referring to it as a form of divine expression.<\/p>\n
According to Pheelz, music is “God” and has the power to heal. In a post on his X handle, he wrote:
\n“Music is not a grind. It is not a get-rich-quick scheme.
\nIt is not a hustle.
\nMusic is life.
\nMusic is feeling.
\nMusic is healing.
\nMusic is God.”<\/p>\n
Reports indicate that many up-and-coming Afrobeats artists, as well as established stars, have cited poverty as a major inspiration for pursuing their careers.<\/p>\n
In a separate post, the ‘Finesse’ hitmaker further explained that the music business is a human attempt to commercialize divine energy. He wrote:
