The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has taken a significant step to strengthen Keystone Bank Limited by constituting a new board of directors and appointing additional executive directors. Lady Ada Chukwudozie, a leading figure in Nigeria’s corporate world, has been appointed as the board chairman, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in business strategy, management, and administration to the table.<\/p>\n
Joining her are five other non-executive directors, including Abdul-Rahman Esene, Mrs. Fola Akande, Akintola Ayodeji Olusoji, Obijiaku Samuel, and Sen. Farouk Bello. These individuals possess impressive track records in banking, investment management, corporate finance, and advisory services, having worked with renowned institutions such as Afrinvest, Global Arbitrage International Inc, and Fidelity Bank PLC.<\/p>\n
The CBN has also appointed two new executive directors: Ladi Oluwole and Abubakar Usman Bello. Ladi Oluwole brings over 20 years of expertise in Enterprise and Credit Risk Management, while Abubakar Usman Bello has considerable experience in banking and management, having served in strategic leadership and management roles.<\/p>\n
According to Keystone Bank’s Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Hassan Imam, the new appointees will play a crucial role in repositioning the bank to seize emerging economic opportunities while maintaining strong corporate governance and providing customers with a secure and reliable banking experience.
