The southern part of Nigeria is not spared from the weather disturbances. NiMet forecasts moderate rains over states like Ebonyi, Imo, Enugu, Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo, Delta, Cross River, and Bayelsa during the same period. Intermittent rains are expected later in the day, affecting coastal and inland regions.
