Chippa United Chief Executive Officer Chippa Mpengesi says interested clubs offered peanuts for Stanley Nwabali.
\nNwabali was linked with a number of clubs in South Africa, Europe and Asia after impressing for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d\u2019Ivoire.<\/p>\n
The 28-year-old is however still on the books of the Chili Boys.
\nThe shot stopper signed a new three-year contract last month and was also named captain of the club.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was never about the price, there were two teams who were interested, one of them was AmaZulu, but they were offering peanuts,\u201d Mpengesi told KickOff.<\/p>\n
