{"id":48268,"date":"2024-09-12T11:24:38","date_gmt":"2024-09-12T11:24:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=48268"},"modified":"2024-09-12T11:24:38","modified_gmt":"2024-09-12T11:24:38","slug":"two-ondo-polytechnic-students-killed-in-car-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2024\/09\/12\/two-ondo-polytechnic-students-killed-in-car-crash\/","title":{"rendered":"Two Ondo Polytechnic Students Killed in Car Crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two Federal Polytechnic students from Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, were murdered in a deadly traffic accident on the Akure-Ondo Expressway on Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports, the deceased, Chukwu Athanasius and Oladokun Oyindamola, were riding a motorcycle when they were hit by a speeding vehicle, killing them on the spot.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, the National Association of Nigerian Students Joint Campus Council Ondo State Chapter released a statement confirming the occurrence.<\/p>\n<p>The statement was signed by Oluwarotimi Tobiloba Joshua, the association&#8217;s chairman; Oluwanishola Ajibola, the General Secretary; and Kehinde Blessing, the Public Relations Officer.<\/p>\n<p>The statement read, &#8220;This loss is a significant blow to the Ondo State student community.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The tragic deaths of Chukwu Athanasius and Oladokun Oyindamola remind us of the fragility of life.
