Shettima made this statement during a meeting with the World Bank Nigeria team at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>During his remarks, the Vice President emphasized that addressing the country\u2019s educational challenges requires a multi-faceted approach. He stressed that human capacity development and resource allocation are key to driving positive outcomes in education, and technology will play a pivotal role in that process. Shettima reassured the World Bank delegation that President Bola Tinubu\u2019s administration is fully dedicated to driving meaningful change across the nation, particularly in the education sector.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With the evolving global technological landscape, President Tinubu will harness all available opportunities to add value to our country,&#8221; Shettima said. He emphasized that while the road to reform is challenging, the administration is focused on achieving sustained growth and transformation. &#8220;Be rest assured that where there is a will, there is always a way. Change is a very painful percolation process. But I know we will get out of this very soon and be on the path of sustained growth,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Drawing inspiration from international success stories, Shettima pointed to India\u2019s adoption of KYAN smart class technology, which has been deployed to teach over 50,000 students in rural and underserved areas. He suggested that similar technological innovations could revolutionize Nigeria\u2019s educational system, especially in remote and impoverished communities.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In India, Kyan technology is used to teach 50,000 pupils in rural and impoverished areas. I believe technology will help us upgrade our education system significantly,&#8221; he said.
