Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has addressed recent rumors suggesting she was pregnant by American rapper Future.<\/p>\n
The speculation began after Tems was seen at Burberry\u2019s Spring\/Summer 2024 London Fashion Week show last December, wearing a black dress with a purple fluffy coat and matching heels. Many speculated that the way the dress fit her suggested a possible pregnancy.<\/p>\n
In a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, Tems questioned why Future was rumored to be the father of her alleged pregnancy. She wondered why the rumors didn\u2019t suggest other celebrities like Wizkid or Drake.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople just focus on the most controversial things. I was thinking, why would I be pregnant by Future? Why Future?\u201d she said. \u201cWhy not Wizkid? Why not Drake? If it were Drake, it would be the same, but the reason it\u2019s Future is because of his reputation. He has about five kids and is known as a ladies\u2019 man.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tems also discussed her musical influences, naming Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Ab-Soul, Andre 3000, and J. Cole as her top rap inspirations.<\/p>\n
She was featured on Drake\u2019s Certified Lover Boy album in 2021, and J. Cole was one of only two guest artists on Tems\u2019 debut album, Born in the Wild, released earlier this year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
