Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has unveiled plans to establish Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Bi-fuel conversion centers across the state.<\/p>\n
The initiative aims to provide an alternative to Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) amid incessant price hikes following the federal government’s subsidy removal.<\/p>\n
Fifty auto-technicians, trained in LNG\/CNG Bi-fuel system conversion, graduated from the PAN Learning Centre in Kaduna State.<\/p>\n
Governor Sule explained that the conversion centers will be built in the three senatorial zones, providing repair, maintenance, and manufacturing services.<\/p>\n
This move will mitigate the suffering caused by PMS price hikes and promote environmental conservation through clean energy.<\/p>\n
The governor emphasized the importance of clean energy, citing LNG, CNG, and electric vehicles as the future.<\/p>\n
He commended the director general of the state’s Human Capital Development Agency, Habiba Balarabe-Suleiman, and the PAN Learning Centre for their efforts.<\/p>\n
The trained auto-technicians were urged to take their jobs seriously, improving their livelihoods and contributing to society.<\/p>\n
The Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association chairman, Shuaibu Abdullahi, praised the state government for the training opportunity.<\/p>\n
