Ali Jita\u2019s decision to switch allegiance not only marks his departure from the NNPP but also signals his exit from the Kwankwasiyya movement\u2014a political faction he vigorously supported during the 2023 general elections. Kwankwasiyya, led by former Kano Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has been a dominant force in the north, and Jita\u2019s involvement in the movement added weight to its cultural outreach, particularly in the entertainment space.<\/p>\n
Mr. Jibrin, in his Facebook post, expressed his gratitude for Ali Jita\u2019s decision to join the APC. He acknowledged the singer\u2019s talent, influence, and contributions to Kannywood, Nigeria\u2019s Hausa-language film industry, which plays a key role in shaping northern Nigerian culture and politics.<\/p>\n
