The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Ilorin Zonal Directorate has arrested 56 suspected internet fraudsters in Kwara State.<\/p>\n
The arrests were made on September 3-4, 2024, at various locations following credible intelligence on the suspects’ activities.<\/p>\n
According to EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, the suspects’ alleged fraudulent activities have caused financial harm to unsuspecting citizens.<\/p>\n
Recovered items include 18 exotic cars of different brands, laptops, expensive smartphones
\nand charms.<\/p>\n
Oyewale stated that the suspects will be prosecuted in court once investigations are concluded.<\/p>\n
