{"id":46887,"date":"2024-09-03T11:25:44","date_gmt":"2024-09-03T11:25:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=46887"},"modified":"2024-09-03T11:25:44","modified_gmt":"2024-09-03T11:25:44","slug":"why-petrol-from-my-refinery-seems-clearer-dangote","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2024\/09\/03\/why-petrol-from-my-refinery-seems-clearer-dangote\/","title":{"rendered":"Why Petrol from My Refinery Seems Clearer &#8211; Dangote"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aliko Dangote, the President of Dangote Group, has revealed why the first sample of Premium Motor Spirit, also known as petrol, from his refinery appeared clearer than the petrol currently in circulation.<\/p>\n<p>During a webcast at his refinery in the Ibeju-Lekki district of Lagos State, Dangote stated that clearer fuel is more environmentally friendly and may help minimize health risks linked with contaminated petroleum products.<\/p>\n<p>He added that this new petrol will also prevent engines from damage caused by the hazy petrol that is commonly found on the market.<\/p>\n<p>He said, &#8220;This is a sample of fuel. You view it as a different colour, yet it is the genuine thing. &#8220;You will now have a good and genuine product.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dangote also commented on the colour of the diesel, saying, &#8220;I am sure Nigerians have never seen this colour of diesel before.&#8221; &#8220;It&#8217;s called Euro-5 diesel. It has fewer than 10 parts per million (PPM) of sulfur. This will make vehicles, engines, and generators last longer.<\/p>\n<p>He added, &#8220;The health of people and the environment would not be jeopardized.
