On Friday, the Kano State Fire Service saved a mother and her two male children who were stuck in a collapsed structure in the Kano Municipal Local Government Area’s Makwarari axis.<\/p>\n
Saminu Abdullahi, the organization’s public relations officer, revealed this in a statement released in Kano and provided to reporters on Friday. Abdullahi claims that the structure is a one-story, thirty-by forty-foot residential home.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe received an emergency call on Friday, around 9:30a.m, from our control room by one of our staff members, Ibrahim Isah, that a building collapsed.<\/p>\n
\u201cUpon receiving the information, we quickly dispatched firemen to the scene,\u201d he added<\/p>\n
According to Abdullahi, the victims were saved from certain death and brought to Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital in Kano for medical attention.<\/p>\n
The victims were identified in the statement as Abdulnasir Jilani, 12, Abdullahi Jilani, 9, and Balaraba Abba, 35, the mother.<\/p>\n
