In the video, she alleges that the officer is recording her with his phone and shares her concerns on social media.<\/p>\n<p>SP Benjamin Hundey, speaking about the case through his social media platform on Tuesday, clarified that the police officer was using his phone to record Phyna for violating a traffic law, not for arbitrary reasons.<\/p>\n<p>He stated, &#8220;If you were in my shoes, somebody carries a phone on your face, you\u2019ll get angry. You\u2019ll get angry! &#8211; a Nigerian.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The police spokesperson pointed out that there is a double standard when it comes to recording police officers in the line of duty. He emphasized that the law does not exempt individuals from being recorded if they break traffic rules or engage in confrontational behavior.
