Three people sustained serious injuries, while two escaped unharmed. According to eyewitnesses, the accident was caused by overspeeding and reckless overtaking.<\/p>\n
Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) State Sector Commander, Ibitoye Samuel, confirmed the incident, stating that it occurred at 8 pm on Monday and rescue operations concluded at 11 pm.<\/p>\n
While investigations are ongoing, preliminary findings suggest overspeeding and wrongful overtaking as contributing factors. Commander Samuel emphasized the importance of defensive driving techniques and cautioned motorists against claiming right-of-way.<\/p>\n
