Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has inaugurated the construction of three state-of-the-art bus and taxi terminals in Abuja’s Central Business District. During the ceremony, Wike praised Abuja as a beautiful city and highlighted the importance of expanding road infrastructure and linking it with modern bus terminals.<\/p>\n
He noted that two previous terminals were launched in Mabushi and Kugbo, and this new project aims to integrate and improve the transport system, reducing crimes like “one-chance” operations. The terminals will feature advanced management systems, allowing for vehicle destination tracking and enhanced security.<\/p>\n
Wike assured that the three terminals will be completed and commissioned for commercial use by next year, providing residents with efficient and secure transportation options.
