The students, whose travel documents are close to expiration, have been unable to renew them because the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) office in Russia allegedly lacks the necessary materials to print new passports.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Distressed by the situation, the students have contacted their parents, expressing concern about the impending deportation if their documents are not renewed promptly. A parent, Yakubu Tauheed Bina, highlighted the gravity of the situation, noting that bringing his son back to Nigeria to renew his passport would cost over N5 million.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bina criticized the Nigerian Embassy in Russia for failing to resolve the issue and questioned whether the federal government is adequately funding the embassy.
