He expressed that he isn&#8217;t bothered about not receiving credit for the global rise of Afrobeats, as his focus is on African music as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>Flavour emphasized, &#8220;I don&#8217;t feel bad when I&#8217;m not given credit&#8230; because what the media is talking about is Afrobeats. I&#8217;m not an Afrobeats artiste. What I&#8217;m doing is African music.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He mentioned other artists like Fally Ipupa and Diamond Platinumz, who contribute to African music globally but aren&#8217;t Afrobeats artistes.
