Qualcomm has officially announced the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, the latest addition to its 7-series lineup, following the leak of a datasheet. This new mobile platform is designed to bring high-end features, previously exclusive to flagship devices, to more affordable smartphones.<\/p>\n
One of the standout features of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 is its support for on-device generative AI. This capability allows AI tasks, such as running language models like Baichuan-7B or Llama 2, to be processed directly on the phone, eliminating the need for cloud-based processing. This innovation is expected to result in faster and more responsive AI applications.<\/p>\n
Gaming enthusiasts will also benefit from the enhanced Adreno GPU included in the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Qualcomm claims a significant 40% increase in GPU performance, which should lead to smoother gameplay and improved visuals, even in demanding mobile games.<\/p>\n
