{"id":44387,"date":"2024-08-20T13:37:27","date_gmt":"2024-08-20T13:37:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=44387"},"modified":"2024-08-20T13:37:27","modified_gmt":"2024-08-20T13:37:27","slug":"police-arrest-woman-for-diversion-of-companys-n3m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2024\/08\/20\/police-arrest-woman-for-diversion-of-companys-n3m\/","title":{"rendered":"Police Arrest Woman For Diversion of Company\u2019s N3m"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Operatives of Lagos State Police Command have arrested and detained a 25-year-old woman for allegedly diverting N3 million belonging to a company into her account.<\/p>\n<p>The Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest to the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>Hundeyin alleged that the suspect (name withheld) and her other co-workers, in a catering company, conspired and diverted money realised from the sale of the company\u2019s products into their personal accounts.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the suspects only remitted a fraction of the money to the company\u2019s account.<\/p>\n<p>Hundeyin said, \u201cOver N3 million has so far been traced to the detained suspect\u2019s account.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe is in detention under a remand warrant.
