President Bola Tinubu has emphasised the need for public servants to prioritise the nation\u2019s progress above everything else.<\/p>\n
Speaking during a valedictory session for the outgoing Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folashade Yemi Esan, at the State House in Abuja on Monday, Tinubu used the occasion to underscore the importance of commitment and dedication in the public service.<\/p>\n
He praised Dr. Yemi Esan\u2019s tenure as exemplary, highlighting her unwavering loyalty and visionary leadership as benchmarks for all public office holders.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe must learn from her commitment to duty, loyalty, and great vision,\u201d Tinubu stated, setting a clear expectation for current and future public servants.<\/p>\n
He said, \u201cDr Folashade Yemi Esan must be thanked for her very exceptional tenure as the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation and we must learn from her more commitment to duty, loyalty and great vision, she served our nation exceptionally well with more commitment to duty, loyalty and great vision with distinction guiding the Civil Service rule with significant transformation and reforms.\u201d<\/p>\n
The President further extolled her dedication and transparency to the Service, adding that it has enhanced professionalism and set high standard for public administration in Nigeria.<\/p>\n
